Who will bury Charles Manson? Serial killer could be used for medical research after grandson’s fundraising appeal fails

Serial killer Charles Manson could end up being used for medical research if his grandson is unable to claim his body.

Jason Freeman, 41, is believed to be the only living person with a legitimate claim as a Manson relative.

His father Charles Manson Jnr was the only son of the notorious cult leader and first wife Rosalie.

Manson Jnr struggled with his family’s infamy and later changed his name to Jay White.

He killed himself in 1993.

Mr Freeman lives in Ohio and never met his grandfather, although he says they spoke on the phone in recent years.

After Manson died last Sunday, friends helped Mr Freeman start a GoFundMe page for funds to help him travel to California and claim the body for a funeral.

Zodiac serial killer who has evaded police for 50 years could finally be caught

The Zodiac Killer is one of the great unsolved serial killer mysteries of all time. He operated in North California in the late 60s, and wrote to newspapers claiming he had killed 37.

Even though police investigated 2,500 suspects, the case was never solved as forensic technology was not advanced enough to tie anyone conclusively to the crime.

But now a new team are examining the evidence and there is a high hopes that cutting edge forensic technology may finally blow open a case which has puzzled detectives for decades.

In a spree of heinous attacks the killer sent taunting letters to authorities, some containing ciphers filled with mystifying combinations of letters and symbols.

One cipher in particular, known as the Z340, has baffled the greatest minds in cryptology for nearly 50 years—and it continues to draw scrutiny because the Zodiac killer claimed this code contained his real name.

The infamous

Serial killer Rose West ‘could die in prison after being stricken with mystery illness’

Serial killer Rose West has been stricken with a serious illness which could be fatal, sources suggest.

The notorious murderer, who took the lives of 12 people, is said to be undergoing treatment in the medical centre at HMP Low Newton, Co Durham.

The Daily Star reports an unnamed source as saying: “She is very ill. Her medical records are closely guarded, and she has a very small circle of staff and fellow inmates in jail, so hardly anyone knows exactly what’s wrong with her.

“But the rumour is that it’s very serious, and could even finish her off.

“West’s life is planned to the letter, because her notoriety makes her very vulnerable to attacks from fellow inmates.

“It also means that when she requires medical attention or prescribed drugs, the

Police fear cat serial killer could starts attacking vulnerable women and girls as number of mutilated animals soars

A serial cat killer suspected in hundreds of animal deaths could begin attacking vulnerable women and girls, police fear.

Known as the ‘Croydon cat killer’ and the ‘M25 cat killer’, the unidentified suspect is believed to have killed and mutilated dozens of pet cats, foxes and rabbits – with the number of killings on the rise.

In most cases the animals were found decapitated with their limbs or tails cut off.

With the hunt for the suspect now in its third year, detectives fear the prolific animal killer’s crimes could escalate and they could begin targeting humans.

More than 360 cats, foxes and rabbits have been found dead and mutilated in Greater London since 2015, it was reported.

GOP Congressman Wished He Could Have Arrested Trump Over ‘Grab ‘Em By The Pussy’ Comments

Republican Congressman Dave Reichert says he would have arrested then-candidate Donald Trump for his comments about grabbing non-consenting women “by the pussy,” if he could have.

However, the state of the law–and his present occupation–prevented him from doing so. In an interview with Vice News about the increasingly quaint notion of “Moderate Republicans,” the Washington member of Congress said:

If the statute of limitations was still in existence, and he made those comments in King County, and you know it happened in King County, that’s a person that I would have to arrest…[those comments were] sort of an admission of guilt from him.

Reichert is a former sheriff–and a somewhat decorated one at that. He was a member of the Green River Task Force, which was assigned to track down the Green River Killer. That task force was infamously assisted by serial killer Ted Bundy. The Green

Prosecutor Suggests a NY Carpenter Could Be a Suspect in the Long Island Serial Killer Case

A carpenter named John Bittrolff, who was recently sentenced to prison for murdering two prostitutes, may be responsible for one or more of the unsolved deaths connected to the bodies discovered on Gilgo Beach in Long Island, New York, a prosecutor said Tuesday.

“There are remains of the victims at Gilgo that may be attributed to the handiwork of Mr. Bittrolff, and that investigation is continuing,” Robert Biancavilla, a prosecutor with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in New York, told the Associated Press.

The Gilgo Beach case, dubbed the “Long Island Serial Killer,” traces back to the discovery of multiple bodies starting in December 2010. Authorities eventually unearthed 10 sets of remains on Gilgo and have said they believe at least four of the deaths — all of women — are linked, raising the specter of one or more serial killers

Could John Bittrolff Be Connected To Long Island Serial Killer …

In a Tuesday announcement, the Suffolk County District Attorney said that a convicted killer may be the same man at the center of the Long Island Serial Killer investigation.

According to PIX11, Thomas Spota pointed to 51-year-old John Bittrolff, a Manorville carpenter, who was arrested in 2014 and convicted for two cold case murders of sex workers in the early 1990s. Now, Spota is saying Bittrolff might have murdered additional victims found on Gilgo Beach in 2010 and 2011.

It’s a change of tune from 2014, when Spota said that there was “no evidentiary or investigative link between this case and Gilgo.”

Thirty-one-year-old Rita Tangredi was found beaten and strangled in November 1993. Twenty-year-old Colleen McNamee was also discovered beaten and killed in January 1994. Both women were positioned in a specific way.

Spota said in 2014, that he suspected another sex worker found
