REVEALED: The shocking details of what happens to serial killers after they die

Among the victims was actress Sharon Tate, the pregnant wife of filmmaker Roman Polanski. She was stabbed 16 times by cult members.

In court, Manson said: “These children that come at you with knives, they are your children. You taught them; I didn’t teach them. I just tried to help them stand up.”

The murders he ordered saw a group of his young followers break into MsTate’s home and stab to death her, coffee heiress Abigail Folger, celebrity hairdresser Jay Sebring, Polish movie director Voityck Frykowski and Steven Parent, a friend of the estate’s caretaker.

Ms Tate was eight and a half months pregnant and her husband, filmmaker Roman Polanski, was out of the country at the time.

The next night, a wealthy grocer and his wife, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, were stabbed to death in their home.

The words “Pigs” and “Helter Skelter” were written on the wall in blood at the crime

Serial killer Ted Bundy was motivated by rejection after he was dumped by his first girlfriend, expert claims

Notorious serial killer and rapist Ted Bundy took the lives of innocent women because he “harboured a grudge” against his first girlfriend who broke his heart, a new documentary claims.

Bundy was sentenced to death after he admitted murdering 30 female college students across three different states in the 1970s – and claimed responsibility for dozens of others after he was finally brought to justice.

Before his death by electric chair in 1989, Bundy gave a number of interviews from jail in which he revelled in re-telling the stories of his crimes, reports Daily Mail.

These tapes were re-examined and recreated on CBS’s Voice of a Serial Killer, and led one expert to a new theory on what drove Bundy to become a murderer.

Criminologist and author Christopher Berry-Dee suggested Bundy was motivated by the deep-rooted sense

Missing: Tacoma teen vanishes after telling mom she was with truck driver

TACOMA — Tami Kowalchuk was a troubled teen who thought she “knew the ropes.”  Despite her troubles, Tami was always honest with her mom.

“She communicated a lot with me,” said Cindy Cherry.

On Dec. 26, 1999, 17-year-old Tami told her mom she was going out with friends and that she would be back later. She called her mom later in the evening, and said she ran into an acquaintance, a truck driver named Tony. She wanted to come home and get some clothes so she could go one of his long-haul trips.

Cindy knew her daughter’s history and said no. Tami had a court ordered curfew of 10 pm. Her mom told her she needed to come home.

That was the last time Cindy heard her daughter’s voice.

“Tami thought she knew the ropes,” Cindy said. “And she didn’t. She caught up with someone a little bit smarter than her.”

A young girl’s hopes turns to

Fugitive serial killer caught in southern Turkey after four years on the run

ADANA – Doğan News Agency

A fugitive serial killer who murdered six people has finally been caught in the southern province of Adana after he tried to visit his wife in hospital.

Thirty seven-year-old Adem Bozkurt was released in 2013 after spending five years in jail, when the court deemed his prison sentence finished.

However, shortly after his release he was sentenced to more than 94 years in prison for killing one child and five adults in the eastern province of Elazığ back in 2008.

On the run for four years, he successfully evaded police capture by constantly changing his address and avoiding contact with relatives and friends.

Officials concluded that he worked unregistered daily jobs to make a living.

But the fugitive slipped up when he decided to visit his wife, who was severely ill, at a hospital in Adana. At that moment he was living in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır.

Police formed a

Serial killer nurse "heard God" laughing in her head after telling her to murder desperately ill patients

She was the nurse whom elderly patients and their families relied on, to relieve their pain, care for them and give them comfort in their last days and weeks.

Elizabeth Wettlaufer had been in the nursing profession for 25 years and was well respected in the nursing homes she worked in.

But beneath her caring facade was a woman who claimed she had a ‘red surge’ when she was given instructions by God to kill the geriatric victims laying in their beds before her.

These instructions led to her becoming one of the most deadly female serial killers in Canadian history – notching up a death toll of eight pensioners, which experts believe could have been far higher had the religious nurse not handed herself into police.

Wettlaufer was jailed for life last year, after the eight murders of her patients – by injecting them with overdoses of insulin.

Charles Manson, notorious serial killer and cult leader, dies at 83 after 46 years in prison

LOS ANGELES — Charles Manson, the hippie cult leader who became the hypnotic-eyed face of evil across America after orchestrating the gruesome murders of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and six others in Los Angeles during the summer of 1969, died Sunday after nearly a half-century in prison. He was 83.

Manson, whose name to this day is synonymous with unspeakable violence and madness, died at 8:13 p.m. of natural causes at a Kern County hospital, according to a California Department of Corrections statement.

Michele Hanisee, president of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys, reacted to the death by quoting the late Vincent Bugliosi, the Los Angeles prosecutor who put Manson behind bars. Bugliosi said: “Manson was an evil, sophisticated con man with twisted and warped moral values.”

“Today, Manson’s victims are the ones who should be remembered and mourned on the occasion of his death,” Hanisee said.

California Corrections spokeswoman Vicky Waters said it’s

A killer escaped in Hawaii and flew to California — then got caught after hailing a cab

Randall Saito is taken into custody by sheriff’s deputies in Stockton, Calif. (San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office)

A manipulative “psychopathic predator” who Hawaiian prosecutors said has “all the criteria of a classic serial killer” was arrested Wednesday, four days after escaping from a mental hospital on Oahu, chartering a plane to a neighboring island and flying commercial to California.

The “violent psychopath” in question is Randall Toshio Saito, who has called the Hawaii State Hospital home for nearly four decades, according to police.

He was arrested by deputies in San Joaquin County, Calif. — about 2,500 miles from Oahu — after “an alert taxi cab driver” called police, the sheriff’s office said.

In 1979, Saito shot Sandra Yamashiro in the face with a pellet gun, then stabbed her to death, according to Time magazine. He had never met the woman before and
